Inman Quarter

Atlanta, GA

This high-density, mixed-use development is deftly inserted into a sensitive site in the historic Inman Park neighborhood.  The result of extensive effort between SDA, the neighborhood, and Atlanta’s Urban Design Commission, IQ responds to the district’s scale, architectural vocabulary, and future vision.  A balance of uses and open space complements and further activates this already vibrant area, including top-tier restaurant and commercial offerings, apartments, green space, and parking that is hidden from view.

Turning an existing city infrastructure easement to its advantage, Inman Quarter creates an interior streetscape that invites the public into the project to enjoy additional food and retail, share greenspace, sit and reflect at the meditative water wall, or just enjoy a moment’s respite from the bustling city sidewalks beyond.
