Conceived as a sculptural anchor to the public park at Assembly Studios, the bandshell will be constructed from mass timber—a compression ring will hold the lattice roof while balancing on two delicate foundation points, allowing the shell to float above the park and define the stage below, while custom stainless steel roof shingles will create dynamic reflected light throughout the day. The bandshell will host everything from movies in the park to full-scale concerts. Anticipated completion in Summer 2026.
