Assembly is a new mixed use development focused on film & television production and located on the former site of the General Motors Assembly Plant. 135 acres in all, the centerpiece of the campus is the 43-acre Assembly Studios complex which includes soundstages, warehouse & mill buildings, production offices, administrative facilities, studio bungalows, and event space. The backlots include filmable building facades designed to replicate locales like NYC and New Orleans, as well as a large reflecting pool that doubles as a water stage & stunt location.

Future phases include a public town center with shops, restaurants, hotels, and housing, plus an iconic digital media tower and a central park that doubles as storm water retention.
